Description

Stunning

Wakizashi made by “Tashiro Kakubei Kanenobu” during early Edo Period (circa 1660AD), with a Tameshigiri test inscribed also. The cut performed is most interesting, it cut through 1 body, specifically the hip area which is ranked as the most difficult cut, its called Moro Guruma Setsudan. The actual cutting test was performed over a century later in 1788AD (year of the Monkey) in the month of November, both type of cut and date it was performed is written on the Nakago.
